Sea to Sea Day 0

Dear friends:

Tomorrow will be day 1, and we will start biking. Today we had a great worship service with the participants and the volunteers. After that we had a road safety training. Tonight we had a celebration, which was a service organized by the different CRC churches in Seattle.

Tomorrow we will dip our back tires in the Pacific Ocean, and we will take off. The first day will be a ride of about 50 miles, or 80 km.

There were about 10 bikers who arrived yesterday without bikes – the airline had their bikes sent to the wrong place. It is Sunday night now and the bikes just came in.

Please, keep praying for this tour, especially about the safety of all these bikers on the road.

God bless,

Ad de Blaeij
Seattle

General information about the tour is on the website: www.seatosea.org
You can watch the tire-dipping ceremony at Golden Gardens Beach in Seattle at 9 am (PT) via live web cast on this site: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/sea-to-sea

Greetings Ad! Thanks for sharing all the blessings big and small that you are enjoying along the way. It was especially good to hear of how people along the way react to you and how it opens up the opportunity to talk about community development. God bless you along the way! May He open many more doors for conversation and insight. - Laura Musoke
